The Pop Group reunited

Mooi dat al die oude bands weer bijeenkomen. Zelfs na 30 jaar. In dit geval The Pop Group uit Bristol. Band die punk, free jazz, funk en dub mixte tot een eigen sound inclusief geëngageerde teksten. Ze gaan weer een plaat maken en ook nog touren. Een van mijn favoriete songs: She's beyond Good and Evil.


Great news. Bristol post-punks The Pop Group are reuniting for a new album and tour after nearly 30 years of inactivity. Thought of as precursors of the Bristol Sound that developed into bands like Massive Attack and Portishead.
