Space Invadas - Done it again
Lekkerrrr. Giles Peterson van BBC1 noemt de zanger Steve Spacek "the voice of modern soul".
Katalyst of Space Invadas is the Sydney based producer Ashley Anderson. All of his solo releases have been nominated for ARIA Awards and there is a very strong fan base established for his work. He also runs the Invada label with Portishead's Geoff Barrow. Vocalist Steve Spacek landed in Sydney via London and LA having worked with J Dilla, Mos Def, Q-Tip, Slum Village and Common. Steve's got that Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye thing going on and has been championed by everyone from Entertainment Weekly to Mos Def. Giles Peterson from BBC1 called him "the voice of modern soul".
