Als The Wombats een nieuwe single hebben, dan moeten we die toch even plaatsen. Opvolger van Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves). Misschien minder energie dan dat nummer, maar wel weer pakkend. Van het nieuwe album waarvan de release is uitgesteld. Daarom is het concert van de band eind februari in de Melkweg ook afgelast.

Follow up to Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves). Less epic than that song, but it still rocks. New album is postponed but these two songs are on it.

Twin Sister - All around and away we go

Color your life. Koop deze EP van Twin Sister. Ze komen uit Brooklyn. De stem van Andrea Estella zou wat zijn voor The Voice. Wel goed om te weten dat dit nummer er op de EP met kop en schotel bovenuit steekt. Nog een jaartje doorgroeien schat ik zo in. Tourden in oktober met The Morning Benders, ook al zo'n Oorbijter ontdekking in 2010.

A few indie labels have already contacted the group, but they plan on gigging behind Color Your Life for a few months before considering their options. "We have enough material to make a few albums," says D'Amico, "but I think we're just going to kind of hold our breath for a little bit."

OK Go is eigenlijk vooral bekend van zijn originele video's, hoewel de band natuurlijk ook goede platen maakt. In de nieuwe video voor het Beatlesque Back From Kathmandu is Ok Go te zien in een optocht door de straten van Los Angeles. Vanaf grote hoogte moet de menigte de naam van de band vormen met dank aan GPS.
