Nummer dat me meteen pakt. Een band (uit Oxford) die we misschien in het rijtje Temper Trap, Everything Everything kunnen scharen, met een beetje Beach Boys op de achtergrond. Dan weet je ongeveer welke richting je moet zoeken. Iron Deer Dream, mooi.

This Oxford band reminds me of the Beach Boys, but also acts like Temper Trap and Everything Everything. This song is amazing.

Glasvegas - The World Is Yours

Glasvegas is gitaarmuren, zanger met een snik en meeslepende liedjes. De Schotse band is terug met een nieuwe song volgens dat recept: The World Is Yours. Ik ben fan.

Airborne Toxic Event - Changing

Braken met hun eerste album twee jaar geleden meteen door (Gasoline en Sometime around midnight waren succesnummers). De nieuwe plaat komt er dit voorjaar aan. Dit nummer staat erop. Volgende maand zijn ze in Nederland.

Hypnotiserend low fi nummer van Griekse muzikant. MTV USA heeft de rechten gekocht van zijn laatste album om als leadermuziek te gebruiken, net als bijna alle Griekse tv zenders.

Most of the Greek radio and TV stations are using his music in their play lists and trailers of their shows and his music has appeared on numerous compilations. Monsieur Minimal is touring all over Greece promoting his music trying to make people smile, feel happy and fall in love. He appears on stage with a laptop, guitars [acoustic, electric] a vibraphone and his own voice.

Gentenaar Steven Bossuyt is Sherman. Hij trok naar Londen om daar zijn muzikale carrière verder vorm te geven. Eerste single is On your side. Uiteraard een Belgisch-Britse smeltkroes.

Sherman is the alterego of the Belgian singersongwriter Steven Bossuyt. Starting off with just the need to fulfill his urge to write songs, Sherman ended up recording some dememos with good friend, and now drummer of the band, David Demeyere. After playing several live solo shows in both Belgium and the UK, Sherman decided to take it to another level and moved to London, where he rented a 12 square meter flat and served coffee in a bakery/coffeeshop in Hampstead. After hours he kept on writing songs and playing solo shows at several venues all over town. After trying every new song he wrote in front of a live audience and receiving a good response, plans were made to record a single. First single is 'On your side' .

Stond in het voorprogramma van Grinderman. Rockchick pur sang. Echt zo'n Tarantino filmtrack. Was ooit gezongen door nog een vrouw: Edith Piaf. Wie? Piaf, die 'chanteuse' uit de jaren 50 en 60. Maar Anna Calvi is weergaloos live! Wow! Must have album: Anna Calvi.
